What is 40weeks Plus?
40weeks Plus is a pregnancy and review blog written and developed by a Latina working mother. 40weeks Plus will focus on our journey in conceiving a second child, the pregnancy, and reviews and giveaways of pregnancy and baby products.
Who is ModernMami™?
My name is Melanie; I’m originally from Puerto Rico and my family moved to Orlando, Florida when I was 8 years old. I’ve been here ever since.
Although my degree is in Industrial & Systems Engineering, I worked in the e-learning industry for 3 years and now focus on social media consulting. Over the past four years, I’ve found myself loving all things social media and continue to learn more each day.
I’ve been married for nearly 8 years and we have a beautiful, yet very active 5 year old baby girl. We are raising a bilingual and multicultural little lady – 3 cultures to be exact: Trinidadian, Puerto Rican, and American! We’re now looking to expand our family with a second child.
