When you have a baby, there are tons of items you need in order to make it through each day. There are, of course, those basic essential items such as diapers, clothes, and formula (if not breastfeeding). But, there are also many other items you use daily: car seat, baby gym, swing, toys, etc. Some are more necessary than others, but it’s amazing just how much you use. You truly realize this when you have a day-long outing or take your baby to someone else’s house. It seems you end up packing the entire house just to be sure that your baby has all he needs for the day and is entertained!

It’s great if you receive many of the items as baby shower gifts or are lucky to find good hand-me-downs from friends or family with growing babies. But, if you end up buying a lot of items yourself – or choose to do so – the cost rapidly adds up!

As many people know, you can often find good deals and save some money by shopping online. There’s also the convenience factor since you can have items delivered to your home, and save yourself the headache of having to take the baby out shopping. (We all know what a pleasure that can be sometimes.)

Perhaps you’ve heard of the site Diapers.com? I’m sure you have at some point or another, but did you know they sell so much more than just diapers? Surprisingly, they sell anything from baby nursery essentials and baby gear to baby clothes and feeding supplies. I first found out about Diapers.com a few months ago when I met a representative at a conference I attended. With the discount code she gave me, I was able to purchase some cute bodysuits for our then-soon-to-be-born baby boy. Most recently, though, I was given the opportunity by BabyCenter to check out the Diapers.com storewide sale that ends March 20.

Tiny Love Lights & Music GyminiMy Daddy Rocks Bodysuit
Since our baby boy is now 3 months old, he has longer periods of alertness and activity each day. The baby gym that we currently have is one we received as a gift when our baby girl was born 5 years ago. It’s very soft and comfortable, but lacks in bright colors and interactive pieces. So, we made sure to purchase a new gym and decided to go with the Tiny Love Lights & Music Gymini pictured above. We were also able to purchase some necessary items like disposable nursing pads that were on sale buy one get one free, and a cute “My Daddy Rocks” bodysuit. Even big sister got a new game for her Leapster!

BabyCenter wants to be sure that you’re able to take advantage of the convenience of shopping at Diapers.com and has provided a $100 shopping spree for one of you! Details below.

Breastfeeding and Pumping {Lansinoh Affinity Breast Pump Giveaway}

Giveaways

Five years ago, when I had my daughter, I was working full-time outside the home. After a short maternity leave of three months, I returned to work full-time and found myself needing to pump about every three hours in order to keep up my breast milk supply. Unfortunately, at that time, my work space consisted [...]

Old Navy Shopping Fun! {Giveaway}

Giveaways

This is a sponsored post. My baby girl is tall for her age. This is of no surprise, since her daddy is over 6 feet tall. Because of that, we are constantly buying jeans and pants for her; she tends to outgrow their length pretty fast. Since she goes to preschool every day, it’s important [...]

Win a Johnson’s Baby Gift Bag!

Giveaways

In celebration of us finding out the sex of our baby, we’re giving away some Johnson’s baby products. We used Johnson’s products for our baby girl, so I know we’ll be using them again for our second baby. In fact, we sometimes still use the Johnson’s bubble bath or wash for her – you’re never [...]

Win a Baby Carrier for your Baby!

Giveaways

With our first child, we never got around to buying a baby carrier. Which is strange, because we carried her quite a bit. So much so, that the older relatives would often give us the “if you carry her too much, she’ll get spoiled” speech. But, of course, she isn’t and we enjoyed carrying and [...]
