26 weeks pregnant

As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, I have been much more relaxed during this second pregnancy. I’ve been trying to make an effort to pay attention to more details and now feel better about certain things: we signed up for a baby registry, have a plan for where our baby boy will sleep, and are this.close to finalizing a name. We’ve also started discussing our baby girl’s 5 year old birthday party and will begin planning it ahead of time, since her birthday is a few days before our due date.

All of these things have helped my mind be more at ease. I’m feeling more in control about what the next few months will bring and what we need to do to be prepared. There’s still much to do, but we’re making progress.

The pregnancy itself is progressing good. I had another episode of really bad Braxton Hicks contractions that knocked me out for about a day, but otherwise, things are going well and baby is growing good.

26 weeks pregnantAnd, finally…as you can see from the photo up top, we took the first belly pictures for this pregnancy! It only took 26 weeks…now I have to remember to keep taking pictures the remainder of the pregnancy.

They are so painless that they kick in a complete six weeks earlier than being pregnant and also you don’t know until you have reached mid being pregnant stage.  Being discreet in nature, some girls by no means ever get to really feel them.  This truth doesn’t have a direct on pregnant lady as a result of they are completely painless.

at the moment the contractions that we have been experiencing for months develop stronger — and grow to be uncomfortable, even mildly painful.  At this level the cervix is softening, dilating, and effacing.  Not each lady experiences the extended model of this stage of labor, however once we will we undoubtedly know that one thing goes on — one thing uncomfortable — it ought to not be discounted.
